- ➤ Alyssa O’Mara began her role as executive director of Great American Downtown in Nashua about a month ago—she is rebuilding the volunteer list, planning a new VIBE MAP website, and restarting the seasonal farmers market, which had its soft opening on Sunday, June 22, and will run every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October 26. - ➤ Private First Class George A. Curley Jr.—an 18-year-old soldier from Laconia captured during the Korean War—returned to American soil yesterday when his remains arrived by plane in Boston; an escort began from Exit 20 in Tilton at 5 p.m. and services are planned for Saturday. WMUR

- ➤ Police said 18-year-old Divaris Ojani Ruiz from Manchester fired multiple shots from his black Ford Mustang at Hampton Beach Tuesday night, striking three people and leading to a chase into Deerfield (where a shelter-in-place order was issued) before his arrest occurred. WMUR

- ➤ The budget review committee on Monday night recommended that the Board of Aldermen approve cost items in the new collective bargaining agreement between the Nashua Board of Education and the Nashua Teachers’ Union.
