- ➤ Swim With A Mission delivered $2M in grants to local veteran groups on Tuesday in Manchester (supporting programs like recreational retreats and therapy) and plans more fundraisers to boost mental health and reduce veteran suicide. WMUR

- ➤ Engine 6 was pushed into quarters at the Conant Road station by the Nashua Fire Department as a nod to a tradition when fire engines were manually pushed in during pre-motorized days to honor past service and promote team unity. - ➤ At the State House, eye doctors are in a fight over House Bill 349 that would let optometrists perform three in-office laser procedures for treating cataracts and glaucoma, with optometrists citing 14 states’ safe records and ophthalmologists warning that limited surgical training may increase complications. - ➤ A study shows that New Hampshire mothers living downstream from sites contaminated with forever chemicals experienced triple the rate of infant deaths and more premature births — state health officials are reviewing the data for safety measures. New Hampshire Union Leader

- ➤ Franklin Pierce University women’s soccer is heading to the Division II Final Four for the second straight season — the Ravens will face No. 16 Washburn University on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Colorado Springs. WMUR
