David Ivanoff said he attends Harbor Care Health & Wellness Center’s annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner nearly every year — he values the event for filling plates and lifting spirits.

Organizers will host the dinner to continue the long-standing tradition that brings local residents together.

The Board of Aldermen passed ordinance O-25-079, which will go into effect in less than a week and require Pine Street Extension encampment residents to leave by December 15.

Miss Lee, who has lived in the encampment for nearly seven months, said the order is cruel — it violates basic human rights and leaves her with no safe shelter option.

On Tuesday, Jen Clayman of Rindge donated a $6,000 check from Emberly’s Embrace to Dartmouth Health’s Cheshire Medical Center to fund car seats for families and bereavement training for nurses — a gift inspired by the stillbirth of her daughter Emberly Rose in 2023.

Clayman, who later gave birth to her son at Cheshire Medical Center, also hosted a charity concert over the summer to honor the staff’s care.
