- ➤ On Friday, the New Hampshire Department of Education released data showing that enrollment dropped to 160,323 from 162,660 as fewer children are being born than in earlier years. The state also announced its highest aid per student at $7,132 and record special education funds, which districts will use when they plan next year’s budgets — a sign of shifting school needs.
