- ➤ Salem veterans enjoyed a free four-course meal today at Tuscan Kitchen, part of an annual event that began in 2010 when Tuscan Brands first offered free meals to service members and over 2,000 people attended. The tradition has served more than 35,000 veterans—featuring guests from a 104-year-old World War II veteran to a serviceman who served for 24 years—highlighting its lasting local impact. WMUR
- ➤ This Thursday, WMUR will partner with the New Hampshire Food Bank in a Day of Giving and collect monetary donations to help stretch every dollar for those in need as one in nine Granite Staters faces food insecurity. The Food Bank experienced a 36% increase in demand since last year and the drive aims to support extra assistance before Thanksgiving. WMUR

- ➤ Several Nashua high school teams advanced in the playoffs last week as Nashua High School South's boys soccer team won 2-1 in overtime against Exeter and will play Windham today at 6:15 p.m., while Bishop Guertin's varsity football team beat Nashua North 32-7 on Saturday and will face Nashua South at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
