- ➤ Kim Dapkus, a Nashua native who grew up on Fletcher Street without hot water, joined the Navy in 1972 and served on ships that trained him in nuclear power. - ➤ A local group is collecting leftover Halloween candy (including Reese’s, KitKat and Snickers) to send to Ukraine as donations, and tables around town display colorful heaps of treats (such as Baby Ruths, Oreos and Tootsie Pops) to support the drive. New Hampshire Union Leader

- ➤ The Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps from Nashua will march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time – providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for performers like trumpet player Damian Sullivan. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ St. Thomas Aquinas won the D-III Boys’ Soccer Title match by defeating Kearsarge 3+0 in Manchester when Angus Foreman scored the first goal and two more sealed the state championship. WMUR
- ➤ Bishop Guertin beat Nashua North 32—7 in a playoff game on November 9 as the Cardinals scored 25 unanswered points in the second half to secure the win. WMUR
- ➤ Saint Anselm College's field hockey team won the NE10 championship by defeating Bentley University 3-2 in double overtime—earning them a spot in the NCAA tournament. The team will face Shippensburg in the first round on Saturday in Pennsylvania. WMUR
- ➤ Hundreds of runners took part in the Manchester City Marathon on Sunday as Millennium Running hosted a 5K, half marathon, full marathon and relay race with charity proceeds helping to reduce veteran suicide in New Hampshire — Mackenzie Hall won the women’s race and Casey Ellis won the men’s race.
