- ➤ Amber Morgan of Fortin Gage Flowers is handing out more than 500 free bouquets today as part of the Petal It Forward program—each person receives one bouquet to keep and one to share. She joins hundreds of florists nationwide who are spreading kindness through these random acts. WMUR

- ➤ Lieutenant Colonel Lewis Chipola, who moved to Nashua in 2006, had a long military career that took him from challenging tours in Vietnam to service in Germany and with the National Guard—he now serves as Quartermaster at Nashua VFW Post 483 and has supported local veterans over the decades. - ➤ Rob Russell’s Barrington drone business helped locate a missing rescue boxer in March after the dog bolted from a Rochester home. - ➤ New tariffs on imported wood products went into effect Tuesday, adding a 10% tax on softwood timber and lumber and a 25% tax on furniture items—raising cost concerns for New Hampshire remodeling businesses. Queen City Cabinetry in Manchester said it now relies on international suppliers as building material prices increased 34% since December and tariffs on furniture and cabinets will rise on Jan. 1. - ➤ A survey by Saint Anselm College found that 78% of voters want more affordable housing, with 68% supporting converting large homes into up to four apartments—views that have risen 15% over the past five years amid high rents and strict affordability needs.
