  • New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean Toomey warned Granite Staters to check their heating systems as cold weather set in. He explained that poor maintenance may let carbon monoxide—an odorless gas—leak into homes and urged everyone to install a detector and call 911 if it sounds.  WMUR
