- ➤ Joseph Byron, founder of Honor Flight New England, has been named the latest Hero Among Us—his nonprofit flies senior veterans to Washington, D.C. to honor their service and reflect on past wartime memories. WMUR
- ➤ A local family tradition of sending holiday cards to US troops has grown into an international nonprofit effort led by Laura Landerman-Garber and Staff Sgt. Chris Lussier—volunteers in New Hampshire now proofread and mail hundreds of thousands of cards, offering troops a piece of home. - ➤ Golden Retrievers took over Amherst’s Village Green on Sunday for the seventh annual Goldens on the Green event—featuring a fashion show, agility course and doggie kissing booth that raised funds for Operation Delta Dog to support veterans. - ➤ Spooky World in Litchfield was named the second scariest haunted attraction on the America Haunts list and featured a haunted hayride with over 120 scare actors roaming its grounds—new scenes were added this year. WMUR
- ➤ Faye Jones (a junior from Nashua Community Music School) was chosen as the InkLink News intern to review SymphonyNH’s season, and she will attend all five music director finalist performances including the launch concert 'Unexpected Stories' (at Keefe Auditorium).
