- ➤ Team members from The Nash Casino collected about 500 scholastic items during a drive and donated hundreds to the Nashua School District on Sept. 15 after team members took what they needed for their families. - ➤ Two New Hampshire residents made the Forbes 400 list on Sept. 9—Richard Cohen of Keene is 45th and Alexander Karp of Lyman is 74th, marking Cohen’s fourth and Karp’s second year on the list. Nashua Ink Link
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A local report features a white mountain painter who will hike with her canvas on her back to catch a bright view. The report also says chef David Vargas will cook street corn + giving a unique look at local art and food. WMUR
- ➤ A mural artist was chosen on Sept. 10 by a committee from three finalists to paint a 70-foot mural along the Riverwalk below the Water Street bridge, and the city will announce the name once the offer is formally accepted.
