CRIME NEWS

  • A 51-year-old woman from Manchester faces charges after she allegedly ran online groups that shared videos of monkeys being tortured—she appeared in court Friday and could face 12 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.  WMUR
  • Two foreign nationals were sentenced for their roles in a multistate burglary ring that targeted Asian communities—prosecutors said the group used drones and GPS trackers to plan break-ins at homes in eight states including in New Hampshire, with Jorges Andres Cardenas Murillo receiving four years and an immigration detainer and Mohammed Islam sentenced to 33 months.  WMUR
