ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, Rudy Giuliani was injured in a two-car crash on I-93 near Manchester—three people were hurt and lanes were closed for about one hour as police investigated the incident. Nashua Ink Link
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ A $2 million ticket sold in New Hampshire matched five winning numbers and the Power Play but not the Powerball in Saturday’s drawing, and officials have not confirmed where it was sold. Other high-value tickets were also sold in Colorado, Indiana and several states while today's drawing is set with an estimated jackpot of $1.1 billion. WMUR
- ➤ State budget cuts reduced funding for UNH, Plymouth State, and Keene State Colleges by 17.6% and raised tuition rates while enrollments stayed flat or declined. Local business leaders worry the cuts will weaken the future workforce & strain the university system’s ability to serve students. WMUR
