- ➤ House of Que from Nashua will represent the state at the World Championship Invitational in Lynchburg, Tennessee from Oct. 11th through 13th—after competing nationwide against Pit Masters contestants, they will have a chance to be named the best barbecue team in the country. WMUR
- ➤ Representatives of AT&T’s Collective Learning initiative, Nashua PAL, and an Elks lodge joined Gov. Kelly Ayotte at PAL’s Youth Safe Haven last week—donating laptops and school supplies to local students. New Hampshire Union Leader

- ➤ Senator Jeanne Shaheen proposed to exempt U.S.-owned small businesses from tariffs on Canadian goods and to let Portsmouth Naval Shipyards skip hiring freezes—this aims to ease trade issues and staffing delays.
