- ➤ Donations for the 2025 Pack a Pack drive are pouring in as volunteers work to collect 4,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for local children in need — drop-offs are accepted at WMUR Studios in Manchester and at Service Credit Union Headquarters in Portsmouth. - ➤ A driver was taken to Elliot Hospital after a vehicle entered the Merrimack River (near Interstate 293 north of Exit 4) in Manchester. WMUR
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ MADCO3D in Rochester uses a 3D printer to build homes partly from concrete and furniture and hopes the new method will address the housing crisis. Sen. Maggie Hassan visited the facility Friday and the first concrete home will be unveiled in Manchester next month — the company is expanding production at a second location at UNH. WMUR
- ➤ In January, News 9 Investigates reported that NF North America, a subsidiary of Nongfu Spring owned by China’s richest man, bought a 300,000-square-foot warehouse in Nashua for $67 million—over four times its assessed value. Local officials and lawmakers raised national security concerns because the property is near military bases and critical infrastructure. WMUR
