- ➤ A Manchester woman sustained serious injuries when the UTV rental she was riding in rolled over on a recreational trail Monday and she was airlifted to a hospital, as New Hampshire Fish & Game reported. New Hampshire Union Leader
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Former Gov. Chris Sununu may testify in the trial of NH Supreme Court Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi, who is charged with trying to influence a case against her husband Geno Marconi who pleaded not guilty—as a hearing is set for Friday and the trial will start on Sept. 2, defense officials say they need more time while prosecutors claim she acted with criminal intent. - ➤ The New Hampshire Cold Case Unit has added two full-time investigators—thanks to funding prioritized by Governor Ayotte—to help solve 129 unsolved cases of missing and murdered persons, responding to families' calls for justice and closure. Nashua Ink Link
- ➤ The personnel/administrative affairs committee recommended final passage of ordinance O-25-058 on August 4 to adjust fire department chief officers' compensation and benefits—an effort to fix long-standing pay compression issues.
