- ➤ A collision between a dirt bike and a UTV on Thursday on the Rockingham Recreation Trail in Derry left a Massachusetts man seriously injured and he was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester — he wore safety gear — while the UTV operator was not hurt. WMUR

- ➤ After over a year-long investigation, the attorney general ruled that Officers Joshua Martin and Jay Atchue acted lawfully when they responded to Ryan Prud’homme’s threat of self-harm outside a Lowe’s store on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua on June 2—officials said the officers’ split-second decisions, which included a fatal gunshot and a non-lethal round, were a reasonable mistake in a rapidly unfolding crisis. - ➤ New tariffs of 35% on Canadian goods took effect Friday, and local manufacturers said they faced longer wait times and higher costs.
