- ➤ On Sunday, a man who grew up in the U.S. from age 3 and raised a family in New Hampshire was stopped at the Maine border—he was held with two of his five children for three hours—and sent back to Canada because of old misdemeanor offenses. - ➤ New Hampshire’s congressional delegation met Tuesday in Manchester to protest the president’s spending and tax cut law that cuts Medicaid and may raise costs for working families. Senators Shaheen and Hassan, along with Representatives Pappas and Goodlander, said the law shifts costs from the federal government to states and may add an estimated $3.5 trillion in debt over the next 10 years.
