ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A worker was critically injured Monday after being electrocuted at Ferrite Microwave Technologies on 104 Perimeter Road in Nashua+ first responders arrived at 7:20 a.m. and he was taken to Southern NH Medical Center for trauma care while investigators from the Fire Marshal’s Office, Police Department and OSHA began probing the cause. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Historical records show that Nashua’s fire department modernized from horse-drawn rigs to motorized apparatus after several tests and incidents from 1923 to 1925. Key milestones included a ladder truck demonstration, a major fire on Main Street bridge, and an auction of the remaining horse-drawn equipment—each marking a turning point in local fire-rescue history. - ➤ After Gov. Ayotte signed Senate bill 295 on June 10, families began rushing to apply for education freedom accounts that use state funds to help pay for private school costs. By July 2, nearly 9,000 applications were submitted—an indication the program could soon exceed its cap of 10,000 students. New Hampshire Bulletin

- ➤ Lawmakers are studying a proposal to create a housing investment trust— a nonprofit funding model that would let developers use a revolving loan fund to support affordable housing. - ➤ Gameday Men’s Health opened in March at 169 DW Highway to offer Testosterone Replacement Therapy and other services for men facing age-related health issues—its team, including Clinical Director Nicole Biehle and GM Justin Veverka, has already treated over 100 men.
