- ➤ On Thursday, 21 rescue dogs and five rescue cats were brought from Tennessee to local shelters—New Hampshire SPCA, Pope Memorial SPCA, and Paws in Maine. Darla, a dog found with her seven puppies and hit by a ricocheted bullet, is now looking for her forever home. WMUR

- ➤ On June 17, 2025, Nashua Police arrested Craig Coulombe, aged 51, for allegedly assaulting a victim with a knife on Spring Street—two people were injured and he was held without bail pending arraignment at 1 p.m. at the local court. Nashua Ink Link

- ➤ Kevin Skarupa visited with third graders at Bicentennial Elementary in Nashua on June 19 to explain the water cycle, different types of clouds, and rainbows. He said the visit was his final one of the school year before heading to summer camps and thanked the students for a coffee mug gift. WMUR

- ➤ Gov. Kelly Ayotte vowed on Thursday to veto the state budget unless lawmakers restore cuts to health care services, education, and retirement benefits—leaving lawmakers a difficult choice as they meet on June 26 to vote on the final package. New Hampshire Bulletin

- ➤ Paramedics in southern New Hampshire warn people about the dangers of hot humid weather and say residents should seek shade and drink water. Chris Stawasz from American Medical Response said that heat exhaustion with pale, clammy skin and heavy sweating and heat stroke — which can cause seizures and unconsciousness — need quick care. WMUR
