- ➤ Douglas Herlihy, 39, was charged with second-degree murder for killing his father, Paul Herlihy, in Milford between Aug. 23rd and Aug. 27th, 2003—he was arrested in Saugus and is held without bail pending extradition. WMUR
- ➤ A 51-year-old Nashua man was arrested for a stabbing near Spring Street on Monday—police said he faces a felony charge. New Hampshire Union Leader
- ➤ A man accused of running an ATM jackpotting scam along the Eastern Seaboard is held at Merrimack County Jail after being extradited from Long Island — authorities say he planned thefts at ATMs in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and he is scheduled to be arraigned today. WMUR

- ➤ WMUR meteorologist Jacqueline Thomas — who sings the national anthem at local events like New Hampshire Fisher Cats games — grew up in a musical family, performed with groups including Girl Authority, and now uses her talent to inspire students at events such as STEM Day. WMUR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Medicaid proponents led by Kristina Amyot spoke Tuesday in Concord and warned that proposed work requirements and premium charges would harm low-income patients—especially those with substance use disorder.
