- ➤ MANCHESTER — The trial of former Youth Development Center staffer James Woodlock, accused of being an accomplice to an aggravated felonious sexual assault case from the late 1990s, is being rescheduled after defense attorneys claimed a grand jury indicted him without sufficient evidence and a hearing to set a new trial date is scheduled for June 10. - ➤ New Hampshire groups raised concerns on Monday over federal cuts that reduced AmeriCorps funding by $400 million—affecting conservation and public school safety and impacting about 500 members at a cost of roughly $5 million. Delegation members said they will push Washington to restore these funds—citing strong bipartisan support for the programs. WMUR
- ➤ State senators are proposing an amendment to restore the Office of the Child Advocate in a slimmed-down form—cutting four positions while keeping essential funding—after the House eliminated the office to save $2.2 million over two years.
