  • The Nashua Pride Parade returns with a shorter route after city officials, police and emergency staff revised plans to cut costs while preserving community support.   • Thomas Fortney became the first surgeon in New England to perform a robotic-assisted shoulder replacement in December, achieving quicker recovery and smaller incisions; the 39-year-old (a former UNH hockey player) discussed the innovation at The Hotel Concord on April 15 in Bedford.  WMUR

  • Team USA sled hockey's journey was recounted in Ice Gold (documentary) that premiered at The Music Hall in Portsmouth. It tells how ex-Bruin Rick Middleton and local entrepreneur Tom Moulton built the team from humble beginnings in 2001 to winning its sixth Paralympic gold medal at this year's Winter Games.  WMUR
