- ➤ The City of Nashua’s Community Development Division partnered with Plan New Hampshire to host a two-day design charrette to plan improvements for the Millyard District—one of the city’s historic areas near the Nashua River. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Gui Lin, 41, was found stabbed multiple times outside a business at 4 Peabody Annex Road in Derry and died at Elliot Hospital — investigators have launched a homicide inquiry and ask anyone with details to come forward. WMUR
- ➤ Swanzey police said James Bostwick, 31, turned himself in on Wednesday after allegedly strangling a domestic violence victim and causing major airway damage that sent the victim to the intensive care unit + he now faces a second-degree assault charge. WMUR
- ➤ A Nashua man held in preventive detention since February was indicted on drug trafficking and sales charges — the Attorney General’s Office confirmed the indictment. New Hampshire Union Leader
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Merrimack High School claimed its record fifth Granite State Challenge title after defeating Tilton School 570 to 310 on May 15 on NH PBS — marking its third consecutive win. The team, led by coaches Dr. Sara Campbell and Liz Dumais, became the only school to win five championships in the game’s 43-year history — setting a new record in academic quiz competition.
