- ➤ Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance in Weare is helping Giovanna, a gentle 2-year-old black Labrador retriever and greyhound mix rescued in Puerto Rico, find a loving home. She is leash-trained, enjoys her crate, and gets along well with other dogs and cats so adopters should have secure, fully enclosed fencing. WMUR
- ➤ An employee at Market Basket in Seabrook discovered two orange lobsters Saturday while checking a shipment; lobster scientist Aubrey Jane said the odds (one in 20 to 30 million) of finding even one are rare. The lobsters will remain at the store until managers decide their next step. WMUR
- ➤ The New Hampshire SPCA announced today that Lindsay Hamrick (a seasoned nonprofit leader) is its new president and CEO. The Board of Directors made the decision after a detailed selection process. New Hampshire Union Leader
