- ➤ A man was taken to the hospital after an officer-involved shooting in Pelham Friday night — police said he was alert during transport and no officers were injured, while a section of Nashua Road remains closed for investigation. WMUR

- ➤ On May 14, Mayor Jim Donchess held a Ward 7 meeting at Dr. Crisp Elementary School to update residents on Nashua's budget challenges, housing shortage, federal funding risks, and a rail trail scheduled to finish in 2026. He said the housing shortage shows the city is safe and popular while rising costs for the school bus contract and firefighter workers’ comp add pressure — as residents asked questions about city affairs. - ➤ On May 15th, the Senate advanced two anti-sanctuary city bills to Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s desk to require law enforcement to follow ICE detainers when safe; the chamber also delayed other House proposals by re-referring a driver’s license measure and rejecting a voter roll verification bill — showing a split in legislative priorities.
