- ➤ The New Hampshire Food Bank is calling on volunteers and donors as more people struggle to choose between paying rent and buying food. Rising costs have led to more requests from local pantries in rural areas such as Coos County + the bank will hold an online fundraiser in June to raise $30,000. WMUR

- ➤ On May 15, Hudson police serving an eviction notice found a suspected explosive device that led to Derry Road closing between Evergreen Drive and Marsh Road until it was safely deactivated (by 3:45 p.m.) while nearby schools were briefly secured (although classes continued as planned). WMUR

- ➤ New Hampshire Senate sent a bill to end motor vehicle inspections back to committee on Thursday due to concerns about emissions standards and potential risks to federal funding—state senators said more work is needed before the measure can advance. WMUR

Kelly Ayotte and Executive Councilor Janet Stevens attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Farmsteads of New England’s new supportive housing complex at Redberry Farm on 38 Plumer Road in Epping—built to serve up to 32 residents with developmental and acquired brain disorders and provide daily support.
