- ➤ A man fishing in Hudson fell into the swollen Beaver Brook on Sunday and died after rescue teams from Hudson, Windham, Derry, Pelham, Nashua, and Londonderry launched boats and drones—residents noted that several days of rain had raised the brook's current. Nashua Ink Link

- ➤ The FBI reported that Americans lost $16.6 billion to internet crimes in 2024, including over $52 million from about 2,300 local victims. FBI Boston said most losses came from investment fraud + business emails being compromised + tech support scams. WMUR
- ➤ A driver was taken into custody after striking a pedestrian on Kinsley Street near Ferson Street around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, police said—detectives and accident reconstruction teams are investigating the crash and asking locals to avoid the area. WMUR

- ➤ Members of the New Hampshire Air National Guard medevac crew were nationally recognized for their life-saving rescue on Mount Washington in December 2023 when they saved a skier who suffered a leg fracture after an avalanche carried him 500 feet down the mountain. The six-person team lifted the injured skier 80 feet onto their helicopter, faced gusty winds and freezing temperatures, and received awards—rescue of the year and unit of the year—at a ceremony in Virginia. - ➤ The New Hampshire Senate Finance Committee voted on Friday to restore three health care programs cut by the House — Medicaid provider rates, funds for developmental disabilities and community mental health support — after a nine‑hour public hearing.
