CRIME NEWS
- ➤ During a four-week period ending April 25, police from Hudson and Nashua arrested 14 people for drug offenses—charges included possession and sale of controlled substances, resisting arrest, and witness tampering, with some suspects released on personal recognizance bail and others held pending arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court. - ➤ On April 24th, Nashua police arrested Joshua MacDonald for stealing medical devices from Rivier University and Sebastian Lopez for stabbing a tire during a parking lot dispute, while on April 27th they arrested Fabio Domingues for depositing $20,000 in fraudulent checks and Paul Williams for discharging a gun in a domestic dispute—each case now awaits arraignment. - ➤ New Hampshire DMV offices in Concord, Manchester and Twin Mountain will offer Real ID transactions this Saturday — appointments will be available on the DMV website from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Licenses that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted at airports and federal buildings starting May 7. - ➤ An analysis by the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute found critical shortfalls in the state's child care system as expensive care and provider shortages force many parents to cut work hours, costing families and the economy millions.
