- ➤ After months of training, Alanna Flood completed the Boston Marathon yesterday — raising funds to help Special Olympics New Hampshire reach its $146,000 goal. Flood personally raised over $109,000 and celebrated the achievement with her family as she received her medal. WMUR
- ➤ Professional runner Sara Hall ran the 130th Boston Marathon Monday, finishing in 2:31:55 and placing first in the women’s masters division. She began her memoir tour Tuesday in Portsmouth (For the Love of the Grind) to share insights from her 30-year career with local fans. WMUR
