  • On April 14, 2025, the Nashua Child Advocacy Center held a ribbon cutting at its new 16 Broad St. location to expand services for children and families—now offering on-site behavioral health and specialized medical care—reducing wait times and costs.  Nashua Ink Link
  • Tonight, we introduce Matthew, an 11-year-old who loves pizza, chocolate and building things and hopes to join a forever family. Two local educators have launched a reading series—while three local bakeries offer Easter breads like sticky buns, hot cross buns and cinnamon roll flights for a sweet brunch this weekend.  WMUR

CRIME NEWS

  • Volodymyr Zhukovskyy—charged with causing the deaths of seven motorcyclists in a Randolph crash—entered an Alford plea in Hartford on April 14 and was given 18 months probation, and his record shows driving offenses dating back to 2012.  WMUR

CULTURE NEWS

  • MakeIt Labs will host its first free outdoor event since 2019 on May 31 at 25 Crown St from 12-5 p.m.—the festival will offer hands-on workshops, contests, and exhibits that showcase community creativity and innovation.  Nashua Ink Link

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Egg prices reached an all-time high of $6.23 in March—Brian Johnson of Johnson Golden Harvest in Hooksett said his farmstand saw demand for local eggs double after reopening for the winter and he predicted more New Hampshire customers will shop locally ahead of Easter. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that a dozen eggs cost nearly twice as much as last year.  WMUR

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Merrimack High School’s robotics team (Chop Shop 166) earned an invitation to the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston from April 16th to 19th after competing at the New England District Championships at The Big E in Springfield, Mass. The team won several awards including the Gracious Professionalism Award and finished with four medals despite ending its playoff run early.  Nashua Ink Link

SPORTS NEWS

  • A trio of neurosurgery physician assistants at the New Hampshire NeuroSpine Institute are training for the Boston Marathon to support Good Sports, a charity that helps get more kids into sports. The group, who grew up as athletes, spend pre-dawn hours logging miles before work as they prepare to run their first marathon together.  WMUR
