ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Eugene Mirman, voice actor for "Bob's Burgers," was injured when his all-electric car crashed at a Bedford toll on Tuesday. He posted a thoughtful Instagram update Friday and is now being treated at a local hospital (privacy requested by his agent). WMUR
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ A third-party company that supplies back-office support services in Manchester said its data breach has affected an additional 112,000 people. The breach now impacts a total of 293,000 Granite Staters (roughly 20% of the population) and may have exposed names and Social Security numbers. WMUR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Nashua health officials are searching for Nearro Forbes, 41, a homeless man with active tuberculosis who refused treatment and is now under a court order to isolate for 30 days. Officials are using contact tracing at a warming shelter to help stop the spread of the disease. WMUR
- ➤ Health officials warn that Walmart dinosaur chicken nuggets may contain lead and advise shoppers to check their frozen items today—products in New Hampshire could be affected. New Hampshire Union Leader
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Lin-Wood senior Wyatt Weeden competed in the NHIAA Meet of Champions in giant slalom and slalom events, maintaining a friendly attitude during a fiercely competitive day on the slopes. WMUR
- ➤ Rivier University men’s lacrosse team opened the 2026 season undefeated with a 10-0 record, coming off a historic 2025 championship season (their first GNAC title and NCAA tournament win). They have not lost since 2024 and average 17 goals per game. WMUR
- ➤ The New Hampshire Fisher Cats opened their season Friday at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester as they hosted the Binghamton Rumble Ponies with first pitch at 6:03 p.m. New manager John Tamargo Jr. led the AA team entering their 22nd season with hopes to improve on last year's record. WMUR
