- ➤ A Lowell man, Tyler Savinon, 18, pleaded guilty in federal court in Concord on April 2 to aiding in the robbery of a Nashua mail carrier by directing co-conspirators to steal a key that unlocked local mailboxes—sentencing is set for July 9. Nashua Ink Link

- ➤ New Hampshire will celebrate National Tartan Day on April 6 with many ways for locals to honor Scottish heritage—residents can shop for tartan accessories, raise a glass at whisky bars, and taste Scottish dishes at local pubs. - ➤ On April 1 at Ledge Street Elementary, Mayor Jim Donchess said that federal money cuts and new tariffs will force Nashua to use local funds for police, fire, schools, and health services—he warned that such measures may lead to fewer teachers and police.
