- ➤ The state medical examiner identified skeletal remains found at the Hoodkroft Country Club golf course in Derry on March 20th as belonging to Amanda Grazewski, who went missing from Birch Street on March 17th, 2020—law enforcement and forensic officials continue investigating the cause of her death. - ➤ Joshua Lanchester, 23, was indicted for second-degree murder when his grandmother—Cynthia Lanchester, 76—was found dead in her Easton home last September and has filed a notice to plead insanity after stating he suffered from a mental health disorder at the time. WMUR

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A federal report from the NTSB recommends that the Memorial Bridge—linking Portsmouth and Kittery—undergo a vulnerability check to see if it faces risks like those at the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Maryland. NH officials said the review does not mean the bridge is unsafe but that they will look at past data and schedule more inspections when needed. WMUR
- ➤ Gov. Kelly Ayotte signed a bill Tuesday that changes a 2018 bail law by requiring felony suspects to see a judge before release—ending a failed experiment—and law enforcement officers said the change will help manage repeat offenders, with the law taking effect in September. WMUR
- ➤ New Hampshire lawmakers are moving forward with House Bill 167 that will ban sale of waxes with PFAS—chemicals linked to health risks—to help protect the state’s water and land; the bill, recommended unanimously, will be considered on the consent calendar today. New Hampshire Bulletin
