- ➤ Local pizza contest enters regional finals as voters help choose champion spots. Voting stays open until midnight Monday, Mar. 30, and while voters may cast multiple votes, each pizza place can get only 50 non-unique votes — creating a close contest. Nashua Ink Link
- ➤ Greater Nashua Prevention Coalition will host its first Real Talk event on March 26 at Arlington Street Community Center to spark open conversations about healthy choices between parents and teens. The free event features dinner from Jersey Mike’s, a keynote by neuroscientist Amy Turncliff, breakout sessions, and remarks from recovery experts (all designed to strengthen family communication). - ➤ Gov. Kelly Ayotte showcased two $10,000 donations to the Patron of the Arts Fund in Concord on Tuesday as part of a tax credit program designed to offset state budget cuts, and lawmakers hope the contributions will spur further support for local arts & cultural life. WMUR

- ➤ New Hampshire lawmakers are considering House Bill 1563 to adjust special education funding by adding a lower cost-sharing tier for expenditures between about $54,000 and $75,000 and reducing highest reimbursement from 100% to 90% — with a risk-based audit; the changes will take effect in July 2028. - ➤ The Mount Washington Avalanche Center warns of dangerous conditions this week after a video showed a skier triggering an avalanche in Tuckerman Ravine last week. Backcountry travelers should choose routes carefully (areas above 3000 ft are most at risk) as strong winds and new snow increase the danger. WMUR

- ➤ Backlogged bankruptcy cases in New Hampshire, numbering 242+ since January 2025, have left creditors and debtors in limbo as a motion seeks to remove Trustee Andrew Dudley; a hearing on his removal is set for today. - ➤ The Department of Health and Human Services is strengthening the state’s 988 crisis lifeline in Portsmouth to improve 24/7 support via phone+text, chat and mobile units. Officials will review 15 vendor proposals to ensure every Granite Stater gets help when needed. WMUR
