- ➤ New Hampshire officials and the National Weather Service are monitoring river levels to address potential ice jams as heavy rain and warmer temperatures raise flood risks today in areas including Woodstock, Conway and Chichester (known for ice jams). GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Executive Council approved sole-source contracts for two college systems and two nonprofits — four of the six GO-NORTH rural health care hubs — to manage over $1 billion in federal funding. The contracts were finalized today. New Hampshire Union Leader
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Local residents are advised by the state fire marshal to check recalls on household appliances after two people were injured by a water heater that leaked carbon monoxide last month — officials also note similar alerts for smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. WMUR
- ➤ Under pressure from Sen. Maggie Hassan, a major drug firm ended price hikes and monopoly protections on its life-saving child asthma inhaler after two years of advocacy. The decision aims to improve access + lower costs for children. New Hampshire Union Leader
