- ➤ Bobbie Bagley of Nashua has been selected by the NH chapter of the National Association of Social Workers for her work in public health and community services. New Hampshire Union Leader

- ➤ Harley and Colby will be featured on NH Chronicle today as they share their journey to find a new home. The brothers express their love for history, music + pizza while searching for belonging in our community. WMUR
- ➤ The World Championship Sled Dog Derby was held at Opechee State Forest on Route 106, where mushers from New Hampshire and Quebec raced over three snowy days in February (this event has been a tradition for nearly 100 years) as club president Jennifer Hollows celebrated its generational roots. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At Nashua Community College, more than 80 students earning at least a 3.7 GPA were named to the fall 2025 Presidential Honors List, highlighting their academic excellence. Nashua Ink Link
- ➤ The Board of Education requested a 6% increase from the Board of Aldermen following Monday’s public hearing. The proposed plan may lead to cuts in 56 positions (including 21 teachers) if the funds are not approved. Nashua Ink Link
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Kelly Nixon, a kidney donor from Alaska, drove hundreds of miles from Chicago to Boston during a blizzard so that Michelle Wood from Westmoreland received a life-saving transplant. She and her husband (rented a car after flight plans fell through) made it in two days to reach Tufts Medical Center ahead of the surgery. WMUR

- ➤ Nashua high school playoffs continue as most basketball teams were eliminated, but Bishop Guertin's boys ice hockey team advances to the state semifinals (their next game is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at JFK Arena in Manchester). Nashua Ink Link
- ➤ WMUR's Alanna Flood completed an 18-mile training run for the Boston Marathon and shared her blog update on Mar. 10, detailing hydration tips and urging donations for Special Olympics New Hampshire (using a belt bag for energy gels). WMUR
