ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters in Nashua said no one was injured after a DOT plow caught fire on the northbound lane of the Everett Turnpike near Exit 5 Saturday morning; they extinguished the blaze and are investigating the cause (cause unknown). WMUR
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Plow trucks and cleanup crews cleared wet snowfall early this morning to keep roads safe in Nashua, and they will brace for a nor'easter arriving Sunday night (drivers faced slick conditions and incidents along key highways). WMUR
- ➤ At Bedford Fields, Sean O'Brien of UNH Cooperative Extension explains that beginners should start feeding birds with black oil sunflower seeds and mealworms (with hot pepper suet helping deter squirrels) as winter sets in. Local residents can use these tips to care for wildlife. WMUR
