- ➤ Some propane companies report potential delivery delays as cold winter weather drives up demand across New Hampshire. Superior Plus Propane and officials said fuel shipments might deliver only partially filled tanks, so customers should contact providers early. WMUR
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nearly 300 students at World Academy cheered as former student Caroline Harvey helped Team USA win a gold medal in women’s hockey on Thursday in Nashua. They waved American flags and handmade signs during the tense game between the USA and Canada. WMUR
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Prospect Mountain won its girls basketball playoffs game by beating Mascoma Valley 58-27 in Manchester, N.H. The team improved its record to 2-0 as reported Feb. 18. WMUR
- ➤ Manny Pacheco, a Merrimack High School senior forward, played the national anthem on his guitar ahead of Tuesday's hockey game, marking his first live performance at school. He also performed on Thursday for his basketball team's senior night and the NHL reposted his video praising his start. WMUR
- ➤ Tara Monsey, the Concord High hockey star who earned Olympic gold and was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, is featured on New Hampshire Chronicle today+ her interview retraces her journey from local youth to celebrated sports legend. WMUR
