- ➤ Two dozen New Hampshire high school students will recite poems at the Poetry Out Loud semi-finals (a statewide contest) scheduled soon to showcase their talent as they compete to advance in the competition. New Hampshire Union Leader

- ➤ Conduent (based in New Jersey) is notifying 112,000 Granite Staters that they were impacted by a data breach affecting over 181,000 residents. Officials say names and Social Security numbers may have been exposed, and the company is coordinating with state authorities to update residents. WMUR
- ➤ On Presidents’ Day, key figures in NH kicked off a shadow primary for the 2028 presidential contest. Pete Buttigieg will campaign for Chris Pappas later this week, while Gavin Newsom appears in Portsmouth early March and Andy Beshear hosts events statewide. WMUR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ State health officials reported 44 adult and 2 child flu deaths this season, including 4 new adult deaths from last week's data, and noted that flu activity remains widespread across all 10 counties despite low activity in Cheshire and Carroll and moderate levels in Grafton and Strafford. WMUR
- ➤ Researchers in Concord are urging New Hampshire firefighters to register for a cancer study to learn more about health risks such as toxins + smoke from fires.
