- ➤ North Hampton business Pom Express will see its American-made pom poms featured by the Seattle Seahawks dancers at Super Bowl 60 on Sunday. Owner Sherry Rand and her daughter Kris McClelland watched every game + are thrilled to represent local craft on the national stage. WMUR

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ YMCA of Greater Nashua completed a $2.7 million expansion of its Merrimack Early Education Center on Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting featuring Governor Kelly Ayotte. The center now has 19 classrooms and 23 new childcare slots (largest in the nation) for about 395 children despite a waitlist over 130. Nashua Ink Link

- ➤ Lawmakers met in Concord on Wednesday to consider House Bill 1811 – a proposal to remove all childhood vaccination requirements while sparking heated debate. Several hours of testimony featured opposing views from medical professionals and bill sponsors who raised concerns over public health and personal choice. WMUR

- ➤ NH health officials report 35 flu-related deaths (including two children) this season amid widespread activity; state epidemiologist Dr. Chan advises people to stay home when sick and practice good hygiene. WMUR
