  • NH Housing & Finance Authority data shows single-family home prices grew 117% since 1998 while incomes rose 19%, deepening the affordability gap in our community. A homeownership conference featuring former HUD official Pam Patenaude will take place in Concord on March 18 at the Conference Center from 8 to 12:30.  WMUR

CULTURE NEWS

  • George Underhill, known as the Father of Crown Hill, played a key role in Nashua's early industrial growth by running a tool-making business (he once employed over 60 workers). His legacy lives on in the street named for him in Crown Hill.  Nashua Ink Link

  • Adam Soucy received a life-saving liver transplant from longtime friend Lee Card on Jan. 20 after 15+ months of testing in Manchester. Soucy, diagnosed with a rare liver cancer just after his marriage, left the hospital on Jan. 29.  WMUR
